Whoever thought the Nas – Jay Z spectacle could not be replicated in Ghana had wrong inclinations. The two hip hop heads squashed their decade-long beef, mounted the stage one time, performed together and worked on the same label. That is history!Another history was made over the weekend at ‘Saminifest’ when Shatta Wale put some credence to the speculations that he would be the surprise act at the concert.
The ‘Mahama Paper’ hitmaker was indeed, a surprise element for the show.
In the middle of his energetic performance, Samini paused and told the teeming crowd about the need for peace in the upcoming general elections and as a sign of unity, his one-time fierce rival, Shatta Wale, would be joining him on stage; then came Shatta Wale unto the stage to a resounding welcome.
The two performed together as well as do their individual hit songs, much to the excitement of the audience.
To the delight of the audience, the two announced a collaboration and a world wide tour.
